Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of borrower profiles, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assess credit risk and develop comprehensive credit memos and reports to support loan origination and renewal decisions.
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify early warning signs of delinquency.
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to structure financing solutions that align with client needs and risk appetites.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic indicators affecting credit markets.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and external stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and transparency.
- Utilize financial modeling techniques to forecast financial outcomes and stress test scenarios.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; MBA or CFA preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in credit analysis, commercial lending, or financial risk management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions, Pivot Tables) and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and synthesize it into actionable insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to senior management effectively.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a high level of accuracy in data processing and reporting.
