Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable/receivable with QuickBooks Pro
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Prepare month-end financial reports and variance analyses
- Process payroll and tax filings semi-monthly
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Assist with annual audits and compliance documentation
- Implement process improvements for financial workflows
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- CPA or QuickBooks certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail with error-spotting abilities
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Ability to work 25-30 hours/week with flexible scheduling
