Responsibilities
- Process daily financial transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, ensuring 100% accuracy.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive and seamless banking experience.
- Cash checks and verify the validity of all checks and documents in compliance with federal regulations.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, balance inquiries, and facilitate new account opening procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure teller line and lobby environment at all times.
- Identify and cross-sell bank products and services to meet individual and branch sales goals.
- Assist in the reconciliation of daily cash drawers and operational reports.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior banking or customer service experience is a strong plus.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle large amounts of cash with high attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting bags of coins.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Windows-based applications.
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and pre-employment screening.
