Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees across multiple states using ADP Workforce Now
- Calculate and garnish wage attachments (tax levies, child support, etc.) per legal requirements
- Manage time and attendance data integration from Kronos and HRIS systems
- Prepare and file federal/state payroll tax forms (941s, 940s, state quarterly reports)
- Reconcile payroll general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain compliance with FLSA, ACA, and multi-state wage/hour laws
- Generate payroll reports for executive team and auditors
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience processing multi-state payroll with ADP or equivalent system
- Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and QuickBooks
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Deep understanding of FLSA, garnishment laws, and state-specific payroll regulations
- Proven ability to handle confidential data with absolute discretion
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field required
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
