Responsibilities
- Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliation of bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- AP/AR Management: Process invoices, verify discrepancies, and ensure timely payment of accounts payable.
- Reporting: Prepare monthly and nightly financial reports, variance analysis, and balance sheets.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies and relevant GAAP regulations.
- Inventory: Assist with month-end inventory counts and asset verification processes.
- System Maintenance: Maintain and update accounting software and spreadsheets (Excel) with high precision.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or night shift setting.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and accounting software.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with the finance team during overlapping hours.
