Responsibilities
- Manage and process daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts on a nightly basis.
- Prepare and post journal entries, adjusting entries, and accruals to ensure financial accuracy.
- Process payroll for multiple employees accurately and in a timely manner.
- Generate and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Maintain and organize physical and digital financial documentation and records.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end audits and tax documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect discrepancies quickly.
- Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night hours.
