Role Overview:
In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our financial records and supporting the month-end close process. You will work closely with the senior accounting team to identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily accounts payable and accounts receivable operations.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Verify and post journal entries to the general ledger.
- Ensure all financial data is accurately recorded and securely stored.
- Collaborate with management to optimize cash flow and budgeting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in large datasets.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts.
