Responsibilities
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L) in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end audits and tax filings in collaboration with external auditors.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and provide recommendations for cost reduction.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and manage depreciation schedules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Proficient in accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of internal controls, financial regulations, and auditing standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting financial data to stakeholders.
