Responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and management reports with strict attention to detail
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals during quarterly reviews
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records with audit-ready precision
- Support month-end closing procedures and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and state-specific financial regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in high-pressure environments
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Strong understanding of California tax laws and payroll regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with 100% accuracy in financial reporting
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday, 8 AM - 5 PM) is mandatory
