Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger entries and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Perform accurate monthly bank reconciliations and credit card variance analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and coordinate with external auditors.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable workflows to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Support the budget preparation process and conduct variance analysis for department heads.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
