- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closings
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee records using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) and variance analysis for clients
- Handle sales tax filings and ensure compliance with CA state regulations
- Support audit preparations and maintain organized financial documentation
- Collaborate with tax professionals and business owners for strategic financial insights
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent professional certification
- Proven expertise in payroll processing and multi-state compliance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, formulas)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and CA tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
