Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledgers and financial records
- Process accounts payable/receivable and reconcile bank statements
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budget forecasting
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance documentation
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and industry regulations
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews
- Implement and improve bookkeeping systems and controls
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and MS Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet urgent deadlines in high-pressure situations
- Experience with multi-state accounting operations
