Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Process and verify invoices, ensuring all transactions are accurate and timely.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation as required.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and filing systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with clients and vendors.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
