Responsibilities
- Manage monthly/quarterly closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and management reports with actionable insights
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance functions
- Lead internal audits and collaborate with external auditors
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Mentor junior accountants and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP platforms
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
