Responsibilities
- Execute complex monthly and weekly reconciliations for general ledger accounts and bank statements.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including P&L and balance sheets, for leadership review.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes with a focus on weekend deadlines.
- Assist in the preparation of variance analysis and budget-to-actual comparisons.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and internal control procedures.
- Review and approve accounts payable and receivable transactions processed during off-hours.
- Collaborate with the treasury team to optimize cash flow management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software (SAP, NetSuite, or QuickBooks).
- Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and/or Sunday).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect discrepancies in data.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
