Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure accurate cash flow management
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with actionable insights for stakeholders
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX
- Lead tax preparation and planning for corporate clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and financial strategy
- Utilize ERP systems (NetSuite) to optimize accounting processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (NetSuite experience required)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex financial data
- Proven track record of improving accounting workflows and reducing costs
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial insights to non-finance teams
- Experience in tech or startup finance environments highly valued
