Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation filings.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls.
- Process expense reports and maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas).
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical mindset.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
