Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced professional to manage our financial reporting, ensure compliance, and drive efficiency. This is a hands-on role requiring a sharp eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close process.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial laws and regulations.
- Prepare tax documents and assist with external audits.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial analysis principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA preferred.
