- Maintain and update general ledgers with precision and timeliness
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage bank reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and variance analysis for client review
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance documentation
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems
- Conduct monthly financial audits and internal controls
- Collaborate with tax professionals during filing seasons
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Deep understanding of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in high-volume environments
