Apex Financial Partners is urgently hiring a skilled Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team in Memphis, TN. We are looking for someone ready to hit the ground running and manage our financial operations with precision.
As a Bookkeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining our financial health, ensuring accuracy in all records, and providing the leadership team with the data they need to make strategic decisions.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist with tax preparation and filing requirements.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience with payroll processing and tax preparation is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
