Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including vendor invoicing and customer billing.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures and financial reporting.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to identify discrepancies.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Prepare and organize financial documents and tax schedules for external audits.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) are highly preferred.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus.
- Must be available to start immediately.
