Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile complex insurance claims with 99.5% accuracy
- Manage denial analysis and resolution for commercial and government payers
- Oversee patient billing cycles and payment processing workflows
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge capture compliance
- Generate monthly revenue reports for executive leadership
- Implement AR aging strategies to optimize cash flow
- Train staff on updated billing regulations and CPT/ICD-10 coding
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a hospital or clinic setting
- Expertise in Epic or NextGen EHR systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC-A credential required
- Advanced knowledge of HIPAA and CMS billing regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with pivot table skills
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities for claim resolution
