Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including accurate data entry and invoice processing.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records within the general ledger system.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
- Prepare and file necessary tax documentation and expense reports for management.
- Support external auditors during annual audits by retrieving and analyzing documents.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and clients to resolve billing discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an accounting or clerical role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, professional environment.
