Responsibilities
- Process daily transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments
- Resolve customer inquiries regarding accounts, services, and banking products
- Balance cash drawers and maintain accurate transaction records
- Actively promote bank services and identify cross-selling opportunities
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and security protocols
- Assist with branch operations including opening/closing procedures
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver seamless customer experiences
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year cash handling or customer service experience
- Proficiency with banking software and MS Office applications
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Valid Louisiana banking license (or willingness to obtain)
