Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or billing errors promptly.
- Manage the full AP cycle, including data entry, coding, and processing payments.
- Assist with the month-end close process, ensuring all outstanding invoices are accounted for.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documentation.
- Communicate professionally with vendors regarding payment status and invoice inquiries.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc reporting and data analysis.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of verifiable experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle experience is a plus).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and basic bookkeeping functions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
