Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare financial statements, variance analyses, and management reports with precision
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows
- Oversee bank reconciliations, payroll coordination, and expense management
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions
- Support annual audits and tax preparation initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (advanced functions), and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Knowledge of GAAP, tax laws, and financial reporting standards
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
