Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports with precision
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for multiple entities
- Implement and optimize internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews and tax season
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate finance
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel with advanced formula knowledge
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP compliance and tax regulations (IRS/Federal)
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities for stakeholder reporting and team collaboration
- Experience with multi-entity accounting and consolidation processes
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in high-volume environments
