Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Manage complex general ledger activities, including intercompany reconciliations and balance sheet audits.
- Assist in the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax filings and returns.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable workflows to ensure timely settlements and cash flow management.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to senior management regarding financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements across all financial operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a high-growth corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, or QuickBooks).
- Excellent analytical skills with an eagle eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities for stakeholder reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience with financial modeling and forecasting is a significant plus.
