Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations and ensure the integrity of financial records.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reconciliations, including bank and credit card statements.
- Assist in the preparation of accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA certification or CMA designation strongly preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal control procedures.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
