Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and examine financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end reconciliations of bank accounts and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of budget reports and financial forecasting.
- Ensure all financial reporting complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Process payroll and ensure tax filings are completed on time.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure internal controls are effective.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel skills required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial analysis principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- CPA certification is a plus.
