Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and annual audits.
- Monitor and report on cash flow and budget variances to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in general accounting or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
