Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable/receivable with 100% transactional accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage payroll processing for 50+ employees bi-weekly
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly
- Assist with annual tax preparation and audit documentation
- Implement internal controls to prevent financial discrepancies
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS compliance standards
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet strict monthly deadlines consistently
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
