The Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the company, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately and on time. This position is crucial for maintaining our financial integrity.
Responsibilities
- Manage and process daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and post journal entries, adjusting entries, and accruals.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Handle payroll processing for the night shift team.
- Assist with internal and external audits as required.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect discrepancies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM or similar).
- Knowledge of GAAP principles is a plus.
