Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
- Manage the end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and local compliance reporting.
- Conduct internal audits to identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements for operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the budgeting team to forecast financial performance and analyze variances.
- Provide detailed financial reporting to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in accounting or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and tax regulations.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex data clearly.
