Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings and ensure full compliance with regulations.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and internal audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop, monitor, and adjust budgets and financial forecasts.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure timely disbursement to all employees.
- Maintain and organize financial documentation and general ledger accounts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a strong plus.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or a related role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a high-pressure team environment.
