Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger operations, including account reconciliation and variance analysis.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure full compliance with IRS and state tax requirements.
- Conduct internal audits and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support budget preparation.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely settlements.
- Utilize ERP systems to generate reports and analyze financial data trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial reporting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP).
- In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for stakeholder reporting.
