Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and process invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies and vendor contracts.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update the AP ledger and general ledger accounts in the ERP system.
- Prepare and process payments via check, ACH, and wire transfer.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments regarding billing inquiries.
- File and organize financial documents for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage high volumes of transactions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
