Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger entries and ensure 100% accuracy in financial reporting.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely payment and collection.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify discrepancies.
- Prepare and file local, state, and federal tax returns as required.
- Support the annual audit process by providing requested documentation and schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- 3+ years of progressive experience in general accounting (preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
