Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, GL maintenance, and month-end closings
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with variance reporting
- Oversee tax compliance and coordinate external audits
- Implement process improvements for financial reporting efficiency
- Maintain internal controls and SOX compliance documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Lead month-end reconciliations for bank accounts and investments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (Power Pivot/VBA)
- Proven track record of improving financial processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
