Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all accounting operations including month-end closing processes
- Prepare accurate financial statements and reports for internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations
- Handle accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Collaborate with auditors during annual compliance reviews
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- CPA certification preferred (or actively pursuing)
