The Opportunity:
We are looking for a proactive professional to manage our day-to-day accounting functions, ensure compliance, and drive financial accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including P&L and balance sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and support external auditors during audits.
- Monitor budgets, track expenses, and provide variance analysis to management.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset schedules and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
