Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory adherence
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Lead internal audits and implement process improvements for efficiency
- Collaborate with leadership on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Maintain compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-departmental financial initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with VBA knowledge
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation and SOX compliance
- Strong analytical skills with experience in variance analysis and forecasting
- Proven track record of process optimization in accounting operations
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting and team leadership
- Experience in manufacturing or real estate accounting highly desirable
