Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for diverse workforce including hourly, salaried, and commission-based employees
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations (FLSA, FICA, WA state labor laws)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings with precision
- Resolve payroll discrepancies through thorough investigation and documentation
- Collaborate with HR and finance departments on payroll system enhancements
- Generate payroll reports for leadership and external audits
- Onboard new hires with complete payroll setup and orientation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or comparable payroll systems
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent certification preferred
- Advanced knowledge of IRS and DOL regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with 0% error tolerance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with competing priorities
- BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
