Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a weekly basis.
- Process and manage payroll for weekend staff with high accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded in compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Assist with general ledger maintenance and month-end close procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounting Assistant, or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, vlookups).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
