The Role
In this pivotal role, you will manage the end-to-end accounts payable lifecycle, ensuring that all vendor invoices are processed accurately and on time. If you are looking for a challenging role with immediate impact, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Invoice Management: Review, verify, and process a high volume of vendor invoices (PO vs. Non-PO) ensuring 100% accuracy.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation of vendor statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Reporting: Assist in month-end and year-end close processes by generating accurate AP aging reports.
- Vendor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries regarding payments and status updates.
- System Optimization: Contribute to the optimization of AP workflows and recommend process improvements.
- Compliance: Ensure all payments comply with company policies and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or Finance.
- Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online or SAP (ERP experience preferred).
- Excel Skills: Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) are highly desirable.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.
- Education: Bachelorβs degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
