Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service at the teller window and drive-thru.
- Process a wide variety of financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers.
- Accurately handle cash, checks, and currency, ensuring all drawers are balanced at the end of the shift.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, balance verification, and general banking questions.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to offer products like savings accounts, credit cards, and safe deposit boxes.
- Maintain strict compliance with bank policies, security regulations, and operational procedures.
- Keep the teller area organized and clean for optimal efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior experience in banking or customer service is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with a proven track record of accuracy in cash handling.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency with Windows-based computer systems and financial software.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
