Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and review of individual and business tax returns (Forms 1040, 1120, etc.).
- Organize and verify client financial documents to ensure accuracy.
- Enter financial data into tax preparation software with strict attention to detail.
- Communicate professionally with clients to gather necessary tax information.
- Stay updated on federal and state tax laws and regulatory changes.
- Assist in the filing process and maintenance of client records.
- Support the senior tax team with administrative tasks and filing.
Qualifications
- No prior tax experience required; we provide on-the-job training.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong basic math and accounting aptitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
