Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and journal entries with a high degree of accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings while maintaining strict adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and financial reviews to identify risks, process improvements, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist in the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes for the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business initiatives.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for external auditors and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
- CPA certification is a significant advantage.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, macros) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
