Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries and monthly financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L).
- Perform comprehensive account reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of federal and state income tax returns.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Ensure strict adherence to GAAP and internal control procedures.
- Conduct variance analysis and assist in the annual audit process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or working towards certification is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements in the United States.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
