Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes and financial reporting for 15+ clients
- Lead audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Develop and maintain robust accounting systems using QuickBooks Online
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Prepare tax returns and provide strategic tax planning guidance
- Mentor junior accountants and oversee team workflows
- Collaborate with CFOs on budget forecasting and financial strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with Denver-based firms
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven track record in audit preparation and compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client management abilities
